Radio BOSS Goes One-on-One: Tamala Jones

I actually auditioned for Scary Movie, to be the Reginal Hall part and I got an offer and everything. We were getting ready to try to close the deal, but because I was on that show (For Your Love) my boss said you can’t do both. And at that point I was all over the place. And that’s what you have to understand, you can do I good job or be the best or think you’re the best. Timing is everything. And look what it’s done for her.

Reginal Hall’s response when asked was there a part in her career that she wanted most that she ultimately did not get.

Tamala Jones has had a very good career. The actress has been in films such as Booty Call, The Wood, The Brothers and many others. You’ve seen her on the small screne in Veronica’s Closet, For Your Love, and perhaps her most notable small screen role Lanie Parish in Castle. She talks to the Radio BOSS about her new role in ABC’s Rebel alongside Katey Sagal and what that role means to her, about her career, about the brian aneurysm she had years ago that she almost died from and how she has rebounded and come to educate the community on the importance of personal health, and about the role that got away.
