Radio BOSS Goes One-on-One: India Shawn

Both in high school and college I wasn’t really immersed in like the social school life. I was just going to school, doing the class thing and then going to the studio afterwards or going to work. I didn’t do the sorority thing or anything like that.

The year 2020 was supposed to be a big year for Epic Records recording artist India Shawn. Her album was supposed to drop. She was supposed to further a tour that shut down due to COVID-19. She did manage to make three videos and while she misses interacting in person with her fans, she is able to connect with them through IG. India talked with the Radio BOSS about 2020 and looking ahead to 2021, her beginnings as a songwriter including penning songs for Chris Brown, and making the choice between being a songwriter or a singer.
