Bellamy Young played the role of Mellie Grant in Scandal, one of the most memorable roles in the more recent history of television. The native of Asheville, NC says she is nothing like the character she played. Even prior to the role of Mellie Grant, Bellamy had starred on the big screen and small screen and currently plays the role of Jessica Whitly in FOX’s Prodigal Son.
