Academy Award Nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno talks to Radio BOSS

Catalina Sandino Moreno, who was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the 2004 film Maria Full of Grace, is beginning to receive more roles in action films. Her latest role is that of Lena in Ballerina (from the World of John Wick). She also has a role in the forthcoming action film The Rip, due out in January 2026. Catalina sits down with the Radio BOSS to talk about her role in Ballerina and the amount of training it took to play the part including training with guns, which she had never done previously. She talks about how her son led to her getting the role. She also talks about her surprise in being nominated for an Academy Award for Maria Full of Grace as well as about her career and future projects. Download or listen.
