Javicia Leslie is a talented star actress on the rise. On CW’s Batwoman, she plays the title role, becoming the first Black woman to do so. Leslie talks with Donal Ware about what it means to her to play Batwoman, her acting career in front of and behind the camera, growing up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and also talks about her concern for the way Black players in the NFL are treated.
