Mýa speaking on living and growing up in Washington, DC and the DMV.
Grammy award winning singer Mýa has had a career that most would dream of. She released her eponymous debut album in 1998 to critical acclaim and she has been going over since, even delving into acting roles. She has sold millions of records and won a Grammy for Lady Marmalade. She has been an “independent” artist since 2008 and has released four albums independently. Mýa talked with Radio BOSS about growing up in Washington, DC and what the vibe was like, what it means to be part of DC’s historic R&B scene, as well as abut her music and acting career.
