So many things from that show that just went viral. I was like ‘yo this fan base is rabid.’ I had no idea it was that deep. I loved it… one of my best friends was the star of the original Power, Omari [Hardwick]. I should have known the show was that big because whenever I hung out with him, I thought I was hanging out with Elvis Presley.

Actor Omar Dorsey more recently could be seen in three big projects. He played the role of Cartier Duns Fareed in Power Book III: Raising Kanan. He can currently be seen in the film Halloween Ends as Sheriff Barker and can also be seen on OWN’s Queen Sugar as Hollingsworth “Hollywood” Desonier.
