Radio BOSS Goes One-on-One: GG Townson

When we got to Toronto and we were shooting and just working with Mario and even seeing the things we were creating, I was like yeah, this is going to be something big for everybody.

GG’s thoughts on when she knew the Salt-N-Pepa biopic was going to be big.

Up until her role as Cheryl “Salt” James in the Lifetime biopic Salt-N-Pepa, GG Townson had appeared in just a few television shows three episodes of Zoey 101, an episode of Everybody Hates Chris and five episodes of In the Cut. Needless to say her role in Salt-N-Pepa has put her on another level towards superstardom. She is appearing in CW’s All-American as well as other projects. GG sat down with the Radio BOSS Donal Ware and talked about her role in the biopic, what she knew about Salt-N-Pepa prior to the film, her favorite rappers, about her grandfather Ronald Townson of The 5th Dimension, upcoming projects and about what Kobe Bryant meant to Los Angeles.
