Remembering Cheslie Kryst (1991-2022)

Shortly after her win as Miss USA in 2019, Cheslie Kryst appeared on our show. I was excited for the conversation because Cheslie, as Miss USA, represented the state of North Carolina, where we’re based. She had made a great life for herself outside of being Miss USA. She was a lawyer and did a lot to try and help people. She was also a former collegiate track and field athlete at the University of South Carolina. She had it going. Then she started working for Extra, where she was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards. The sky seemed like the limit for her. Here is our conversation from May, 2019 as we remember this vibrant young woman who is gone to soon.
